How to wash denim items
When it’s time for a proper wash, go gentle. Denim isn’t delicate, but it’s still worth protecting.
- Turn inside out before washing — this helps preserve the color and prevents streaking.
- Use cold water to avoid shrinkage and fading.
- Opt for a mild detergent, preferably one made for dark fabrics.
- Wash with similar colors — denim can bleed, especially dark or raw styles.
- Use the delicate or gentle cycle. Hand washing is even better if you’re up for it.
